Deeds filed in Hopkinton, wherein the brothers who moved to NY sold their rights in the estate of their hon'd fatehr Thomas identify the sons: Thomas, Zebulon, Benjamin, and Ichabod of Greenfield (Saratoga Co., ) NY, sold to Barney, Weeden, and Samuel. As heirs of Thomas Barber deceased of Hopkinton, Gideon of Greenfield, NY, sold to brother Weeden, brother Arnold to brother Peleg and Elizabeth wife of Asa Babcock of Westerly RI to Weeden.

In his pension application, Thomas Barber jr. gave his family, birthdate and place and stated that he was a subsitute for his father Thomas and brother Peleg. He stated that he moved to Greenfield (Saratoga Co) NY in 1795.

Polly, Weeden, adn Elizabeth Barber were named by their Aunt Dinah Green in her will dated 7 Oct 1804 as well as Ruth Kenyon daughter of Mary. For 1810 Mary Barber is probably in the household of her son Weeden Barber in Hopkinton (Washington Co., ) RI.

[Daughter] Mary Hoxie Hopkinton, RI, left a will dated 13 Jan 1849 and proved 2 Oct 1854, naming her brother Weeden, sister Elizabeth Babcock, and some of their children of her sisters Mercy wife of Lodowick Kenyon, She also mentioned her sister Martha who died young.
